Touros

The most eastern point in all Latin America also known as “the back of Brazil”, Touros is a lively city where time seems to have stopped. The main resource for local economy is fishing. Must do in Touros: going to Tuesday’s open air market, visiting Farol de Calcanhar, one of the highest lighthouse in the world. Even if it is small, Touros has great history as it was very important for Portuguese colonists. It is also the town where BR101, one of the longest road in the world, begins (4.452 km).
