Pirangi

Northern district of Parnamirim where you will find the biggest cashew tree: 7.500 mt squared, 500 mt. Luiz Inacio Oliveira was the fisherman who planted the tree in 1888; hedied at 93 years old under it. The strange way this tree grows is due to the combination of two genetics faults: branches grow sideways and its own weight makes them towards the ground, where they take root and then the phenomena repeat itself.  The repetition of this phenomenon make it look like a wood of trees.
